Systems architecture

Systems architecture includes systems analysis and systems design. It results in the design of systems and/or sub-systems to satisfy specified requirements. SSA fabricates appropriate system models based on information from the client, and with an understanding of the needs of other members of the development team.

Systems analysis

Systems analysis is the study of sets of interacting entities and draws heavily on tools from operations research. It is an explicit formal inquiry carried out to reach an informed decision or identify a better course of action, and generally results in one or more system models. which can be tested by simulation techniques.

Systems design

Systems design is useful both in and outside of the IT world. In the construction industry it allows for the preliminary planning of services and structures. This enables costing and space requirements to be considered before a site is selected. System models also allow the client to make informed comparisons between alternatives in terms of their social, environmental, cultural and financial impacts.
